This is an open continuous announcement for six months ending
January 25, 2009. There are vacancies for immediate selection for
Fillmore, UT, Price, UT and Vernal, UT. Qualified applicants who
apply for these locations by August 19, 2008 will be referred to the
selecting official. Additional selections will be made from this
announcement as other vacancies become available.
RECRUITMENT/RELOCATION INCENTIVE: The BLM may use certain
incentives, currently offered by the Federal government, to attract
high quality candidates. Exceptional recruiting difficulty may
result in payment of a recruitment or relocation bonus in accordance
with the Code of Federal Regulations.
As a Natural Resource Specialist, you will be responsible for helping
us accomplish our mission by performing necessary field work,
environmental analysis, administrative documentation and compliance
monitoring conducted in support of the Field Office minerals
programs, including geophysical operations, applications for permit
to drill, associated road and hydrocarbon pipelines and mining
exploration and drilling operations.
